Into CA

 Today we made it all the way down to Vacaville by lunchtime.  We like to stop at the Great Wonders park downtown there, which is guarded by this ferocious dragon!

The castle in the middle of the park is amazing.

And then, off to the grass for some running.

The trees were amazing.  And so was the sunshine!

Nobody ever complains about the chance to dig in the dirt.

This tree proved quite fascinating to the little guy.

It's even more exciting when your big brother is sitting up in it!

How did he get up there?

Back in the car, with Waldo of course!

Is that the Pacific Ocean I see?  We must be in Santa Cruz already.

Note to self: never give baby a marshmallow in the car.

Because he will mash it into his toes and then smear it on the seat.

We're here in Watsonville at Manresa Campground.  We got site 23, which happened to be terrific.
