Out in TTown

For a special treat, we decided to try Boathouse 19 over on the west side. It's right smack in the middle of the marina, and it's literally a converted boathouse surrounded by gorgeous views of sailboats, water, and - off in the distance - the Narrows bridge. The food was terribly delicious, though M had to discover the hard way that he's not a fan of Hood Canal oysters. On the up side, I got to eat his dinner plus mine, so you won't find any complaints here.

Not surprising, the tacos got the best seat in the house, watching seagulls fly by and the clouds rolling in.

These two don't stop - they are at each other from morning until night.

On a whim, M drove us across town to round out the evening with a piece of cake from Corina Bakery.
Vahalla coffee + brownie = yum.
Just like his papa, N is now a believer in the goodness of the lemon bar. Seven different kinds of cake could not sway him.
