Today we spent the morning in court, contesting the ticket that we received for not putting our registration sticker on fast enough! It was entirely our fault, since it was raining when the sticker came and it turns out shoving the envelope in the glove box is not conducive to remembering to do it later.
But the judge was very nice and dismissed the case, since the ticket was for not being registered and we actually were properly registered at the time. The tacos got a bit of a civics lesson, and their first introduction to metal detectors (c'mon, this is Ttown after all) and the looming jail that sits right next to the courthouse. The were definitely on their best behavior.
Afterwards, we went to celebrate our big victory at the Children's Museum!
For some reason, the tacos wanted to spend the whole time in this dark little cave. They've got the run of the place and they just hunkered down in the dark by themselves. Go figure.
A fox was involved, but that's about all I could parse from their storyline.
The water play was pretty popular today, especially flooding out the table with this big bowl!
So close to crawling! And look at the mitts on this kid.
Look at the air he gets! I think that he's been watching M do push-ups?
Aaaugh! Exhaustion!
We popped over to the Renaissance Cafe for some eggs and toast. Yum.
