A visit to the Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor.

Have you been to the Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor?  If not, it's worth a visit.  The museum was beautiful, with lots of huge windows overlooking the harbor. They have lovely little backpacks filled with goodies for the kids, including a museum bingo card and some rope for tying knots. The kids loved the archaeology exhibit where they could dig for fossils.  S has now abandoned the profession of farming in favor of archaeology.  Who knew digging in sand was a career option?

Out back was a fully-restored one room school house, with old books and a chalkboard.  N embraced his inner professor and lectured us on math and unicorn lore. Definitely the highlight of the trip!
